The Apex Unity Story

2013

Founded by Valentin Stalf and Maximilian Tayenthal to make banking easier and more transparent for millions around the world.

2015

We launch Europe’s first mobile bank accounts. It shows that managing money on the go can be beautifully simple, easy, and transparent.

2019

Opened the Spanish branch and launched bank accounts with Spanish IBANs. Announced $300 million in Series D funding and a further $170 million extension, bringing our valuation to $3.5 billion.

2022

We celebrate our millions customer. We also incorporate Bizum among our payment methods for clients with Spanish IBAN.

2023

We launched our Instant Savings Account for new and existing clients in Spain. Also we become the first neobank collaborating with Social Security.

2024

We start offering joint accounts and Apex Unity Crypto- our crypto investment platform, arrives in Spain. And Apex Unity still has a lot of news coming, so don’t go too far!
